Ah yes what he said about the marketing guys… as an end user it is almost impossible to decide which oil is best because on the bottle or tub of every lubricant they all just say best performing in every criteria. No matter what tub you pick up. It’s impossible to make a choice without technical data and information about the lubricants makeup. Which is always difficult or impossible to find

Great discussion, it is really underestimated how much culture is a contributing factor in reliability. A reliability engineer can make all the correct data driven changes to maintain or increase working ratio, but it doesn't matter unless the whole maintenance team is on board. I'm going to start presenting our KPI's to the group on a regular basis and discuss the tactics that they are executing to drive them. Great podcast! Thanks!
